A tribute to artist Sylvie Fleury, Philippe Chancel took this picture from a New York window during one of his trips to the United States with Valérie Weil in 2006, without knowing who was behind this sign. Amused and totally attracted by the staging of these court shoes topped by a neon light with generously bombastic lettering, Philippe Chancel's picture prolongs, like an echo, the enticing slogan dreamed up by the Swiss artist known for his outspokenness and his intimate works. This picture is a reproduction from the "Souvenirs of New York" book published by Thames & Hudson.
